BRAND NAME HISTORY

Chicago Motorcycle Supply® was once known as Chicago Cycle Supply Company with accessories for motorcycles, bicycles, and even Velocipedes. The catalog claimed to have "Everything for the Dealer and Repairman". Cool.
Their accessories were also later sold in many different dealer catalogs, including Beck and Nation-Bilt. They became popular period accessories that made it easy to dress up the look of your motorcycle with affordable class and style.
The grips and kicker pedals were made out of plastic because it was the WWII era, and rubber was in short supply.
Faber Cycle brought the company back to life in the late 90's when we bought the remaining inventory which also came with the original tooling.
Before that, it wasn't easy finding the matching grips and kicker pedals, and when you did find some, they were very expensive.
It didn't take long before we felt the need to Trademark the name because we discovered some bootlegged versions of the kicker pedals on the market once in awhile.
Chicago Motorcycle Supply parts and accessories are still Made in USA, exactly as they were back in the day, and with the original tooling from back in the day. You will even find some of our inventory is still NOS - new old stock.
